The founder of Salsa Zone is Ehab Known as (E,b)
My journey into dance began in 1995 in Brighton, UK, when a close friend started working as a salsa DJ. After a year and a half of gentle persuasion, I finally went along—just to watch. What I experienced that night changed everything. The energy, the joy, and the music created an atmosphere that felt like summer all year round.
At the time, I believed I was born with “two left feet” and that dancing simply wasn’t for me. I convinced myself it was impossible and avoided lessons altogether. Yet something kept drawing me back. As I continued watching, people began inviting me to dance—and step by step, everything changed.
Once I realised how simple and natural salsa could be, my confidence grew. My feet started to move effortlessly with the music—left, right, left… right, left, right—and I discovered the freedom and happiness that dance brings.
Teaching Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba
Dance and music have always been powerful tools for happiness, confidence, and wellbeing. With over two decades of dancing experience, I have danced with thousands of people worldwide, many of whom had never danced before.
Time and time again, students tell me they feel relaxed, natural, and confident dancing with me. Some have even gone on to dance professionally after a short period of training. These moments inspired me to dedicate myself to teaching and sharing the joy of dance with others.
Our experienced and friendly team is committed to providing high-quality, enjoyable, and effective lessons in salsa and bachata. Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to improve your skills, we are here to guide you every step of the way.

A Global Dance Community
Salsa is more than just one dance. When I say Salsa, I mean the rich and vibrant world of Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba, and Merengue—a global culture that connects people across borders.
Over the years, I have danced with and learned from incredible groups and festivals all around the world. The most beautiful part? No matter where I was, I never felt like a stranger. Dance has a unique way of making you feel at home, wherever you go.
There are moments when I think about staying in, relaxing, and skipping a night of dancing. But then a friend calls and invites me out—and once I’m on the dance floor, the energy appears as if by magic. The music starts, the connection flows, and suddenly we’re dancing until the early hours.
✨ Wherever you find Salsa, you will find friends. ✨
This sense of community, joy, and shared energy is what we bring into every class. When you join us, you’re not just learning to dance—you’re becoming part of a worldwide family.
